Day 3
I stared cooking to day by making flaky pastry dough for my Russian kubiaka. After that, I made the birds milk cake which is a very sweet Russian dessert. It need many hours to set so I had it early this morning. I prepared all my ingredients for the dinner. And went on a run while I waited for the afternoon to arrive. I had a hard time trying to find an alternative for cool-whip, because I think in translations it americanized the recipe. With tonights dinner I made a Scandinavian cabbage. I started to assemble the kubiaka I had to have help because there are many layers. I really love this day because I am Russia, and I love learning how to cook Russian food.

I am so curious about the naming "Bird's Milk" cake. It looks delicious.
